  • Identified the standards used by the AAAHC to survey outpatient surgery centers/practices and survey the current       scenario

  • Obtained manual from AAAHC to assess compliance with 8 core standards and 19 adjunct standards.

  • Revised and enhanced hundreds of pages of policies and procedures for compliance

  • Helped design studies for internal and external benchmarking


Result:

  • The practice achieved a rare first time three year accreditation, becoming the only single specialty practice of their type in the state of North Carolina to achieve accreditation by AAAHC. 

  • Three years later, with a few minor updates for updated standards, the practice readily achieved renewal accreditation for an additional three years.

 

Case Study 3: Non-Profit PR

Challenges:

  • A non-profit organization including participants from five counties in Western NC sought to build brand awareness and   increase community participation in their events


Solution:

  • Created a vibrant Facebook fan page for the group with a regular schedule of newsfeed postings including PR, photos, Facebook events for every fundraiser and other happenings and regularly posted news bits on other relevant Facebook pages serving the same sector.
