AAAHC Accreditation

  • Identify the standards used by the AAAHC to survey outpatient surgery centers/practices and survey the current scenario

  • Obtain manual from AAAHC to assess compliance with 8 core standards and 19 adjunct standards. 

  • Revise and enhance policies and procedures for compliance

  • Conducts practice's own self-assessment using Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAHC) guidelines and standards

  • Schedule on-site survey conducted by a highly trained AAAHC survey team experienced in both the clinical and administrative aspects of ambulatory health care.

Accreditation is a voluntary process through which an ambulatory health care organization is able to measure the quality of its services and performance against nationally recognized standards.
